Residents & Medical Students

Dear Resident and Student Member:  With Governor Lee’s very recent extension of the State of Emergency to the end of August for all of Tennessee, and the continuing increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, after much discussion and consideration, the Tennessee AFP Executive Committee and Assembly Program Committee have determined it is best to cancel the Scientific Assembly Program in October 2020.  This decision is based on a consideration for the safety and well-being of our TNAFP members and their families, our 2020 program speakers and their families, and our exhibiting companies and their representatives.

This, of course, means the 2020 Resident and Student Research Paper Competition is cancelled as well.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and consideration during this difficult time.

Congratulations to those Residents and Medical Students Selected to Participate in Research Presentations or Research Displays at the Tennessee AFP’s 2019 Annual Scientific Assembly.
